There are good friends, and then there are friends that find your soulmate for you. Luckily for Luke and Kelsey, their friends Zach Bolen and his wife Natalie are really good friends. And after a bit of encouragement, a lot of phone conversations and miles bridged, Luke and Kelsey said their I do’s in a beautiful Savannah garden.
When they first started dating, Luke was surprised to find that talking to Kelsey was effortless. There was a comfort in her voice that just seemed–like home. One day turned into one week, and 2 months later he made the long trek to see if this thing could be the real deal. Real it was. And as they say… the rest is history! Three years later and Kelsey now calls Georgia home and I am much happier for it. Luke and Kelsey are more than great clients, they are some of my dearest friends and I had the honor of capturing their emotion filled wedding on a warm day in Savannah, followed by a gorgeous reception at the Cotton Sail Hotel. Thanks you two, for inviting me into your circle on a such a special day.
Kelsey, what made you know that Luke was “the one”? I knew he was the one because he felt like home to me. There was, and is, this ease and comfort with him. We are completely ourselves together. He’s generous, loving, and makes me laugh every single day. He just makes this life so fun!
Luke, What was your favorite moment of your wedding day? When she was walking down the aisle. Just an amazing moment. I thought I wouldn’t be overwhelmed in that moment because of the first look. But man, I wanted to run down the aisle toward her!
