Here you will find some of the latest and greatest weddings I've shot with some seriously cool clients. I'll also be sharing useful tips & tricks I've figured out over the years in the wedding industry. Come join me!
Scott and Tracey were patient when looking for love. Before they found one another, they both knew they deserved someone special and didn’t mind taking the time to find their soulmate. I would say their patience paid off, because Scott and Tracey are one of the most loving, joyful, and authentic couples I have had the honor of working with. Their love reminded me of why I became a photographer and I find that a powerful testament to their bond. (Check out their amazingly swoon-worthy engagement session and read their love story on the blog!)
After Tracey stepped into her beautiful Mori Lee wedding gown, her mother, maid of honor, and mother-in-law said a powerful prayer for their beloved Tracey. It was incredibly moving; a clear sign that Scott and Tracey are well-loved. One of my favorite moments of the day was when Tracey presented her parents with gifts. She let them know that without them, this moment wouldn’t have been possible for her. She hoped that her marriage with Scott would be as loving and wonderful as theirs has been for the last 42 years. If you are wondering if I shed a tear, don’t. Because I totally did!
The guests are seated. The music begins. Tracey was nervous waiting to see Scott, but as soon as she laid eyes on him at the end of the aisle, her demeanor instantly relaxed. Scott, seeing his bride, looked stunned by her beauty. When the two were joined at the altar they were nothing but smiles and giggles. They were two best friends in love, about to be married.
Scott and Tracey were surrounded by friends and family on their big day. All were happy to celebrate and pray over their marriage. It seemed like every person I interacted with had a different story to tell about how Scott and Tracey’s relationship was meant to be. I also heard quite a few comments on how lovely every part of their wedding day experience had been (hinting that Tracey may have a career in wedding planning!) Scott’s father even had a hand in making their wedding day special. Being a former floral shop owner, he hand made Tracey’s bouquet as well as all the bouquets and boutonnieres. Talk about sentimental!
I love so many things about Scott and Tracey’s wedding day. From the intentional design to the small bridal party of people that meant the most to them, Scott and Tracey made sure that their day was full of authentic moments and joyful celebration.
