Here you will find some of the latest and greatest weddings I've shot with some seriously cool clients. I'll also be sharing useful tips & tricks I've figured out over the years in the wedding industry. Come join me!
The best memories come from small moments. Ones that may seem fleeting, but are all part of a larger, beautiful story. Gray and Erika’s first small moment took place at a cookout. Both college students just trying to hang out and take advantage of a free meal. Erika recalls their encounter with her asking lots of questions and Gray patiently answering. Gray remembers only that Erika was beautiful and interesting and he didn’t want the conversation to end.
Fast forward to first dates, falling in love, becoming engaged and then a wedding. Gray and Erika were able to take all those small moments, feelings of joy and excitement and create a wedding day that was full of love. It seemed like every one of their 300 guests felt valued, something that Erika is exceptionally good at. Gray was not only handsome in his dress blues, but clearly adoring of his beautiful bride.
Fitting for their steadfast devotion to each other, Gray and Erika chose a historic church to wed. A symbol of strength from the outside, inside it was filled with excited family and friends. Erika was all butterflies while waiting to see Gray. It was only after the first look that the nerves melted away. Gray wasn’t the only one who got to experience a first look with Erika. She chose to share that experience with her dad and brother, both who were in awe of their girl. Erika’s dad especially, who shed many happy tears.
Their ceremony was a beautiful mix of traditional and modern. It was hard to find a dry eye in the church! After they said “I do!” the newly weds joined family and friends to celebrate their love. (But not before a quick downpour stranded guests inside the chapel. Most brides would have totally freaked, but Erika let it roll right off her back. She was officially Mrs. Lindley, so nothing could stop her from smiling) With delicious food, drinks abundant and some sweet treats for everyone to enjoy, Gray and Erika danced the night away!
I could go on and on about how much I loved my time with Gray and Erika. There is just something about them draws you in, both as a couple and individually. I left their wedding feeling joyful, grateful for the experience and happy that I would be able to share their story with you!
