Here you will find some of the latest and greatest weddings I've shot with some seriously cool clients. I'll also be sharing useful tips & tricks I've figured out over the years in the wedding industry. Come join me!
Oh Mark and Jessica. When we met via facetime they shared their love for wine, charcuterie, and any excuse for a good party. They are hospitable and spontaneous, so we all knew
Then, Jessica showed me her wedding dress. Y’all, I BURST INTO HAPPY TEARS. I have no shame when it comes to expressing my love for Hayley Paige, so I probably looked like a little school girl when she showed me her gorgeous gown. (For real though, when we designed their wedding album a month after their wedding, she asked if I wanted to try it on and I’ve never undressed so fast in my life. Insert laughing so hard you cry emoji here. Ok, back to the story.)
A Hayley Paige gown, The Stave Room, kisses at midnight…. A BALLOON DROP?! It was going to be an unforgettable day. But nothing could prepare us for the emotions of the day. Seeing them promise each other forever was overwhelmingly beautiful.
Jessica looked stunning in her Blush by Hayley Paige gown. She was perfectly complimented by her bridesmaids who carried gorgeous florals by Everything and More. The girls got ready at one of the coolest homes in Buckhead. (Good news, you can rent this magical place!) The light was pouring in through the large modern windows creating magical moments for Jessica and her girls. Mark waited for his bride with anticipation. When they saw each other during their first look, they were both overcome with emotion. You could see in their eyes how grateful they were for each other. How much joy they had to be marrying their best friend that day.
After their sweet vows and a celebrity appearance by their adorable dog, Letty, Mark and Jessica walked hand in hand for the first time as husband and wife. Since it was New Year’s Eve, their guests were already in the party spirit. Which was good, since the Stave Room is part of the American Spirit Works, a favorite Atlanta distillery!
It was a perfect balance of romantic and industrial. We couldn’t help but think about how it complimented Mark and Jessica who are self proclaimed opposites! Everything worked beautifully together. But what we were most excited about was tucked up in the ceiling, waiting to make its midnight debut.
As Mark and Jessica danced the night away, champagne flowed abundantly. As midnight drew near, with glasses of bubbly in hand, guests enjoyed their last moments of 2017 with those they loved. 10,9,8,7,6-Mark and Jessica embrace one last time, saying a million words with just one look. 5,4,3,2,1!
Happy New Year, loves. May this year bring you joy, love, happiness and of course, champagne!
