Talk about a heart stopper! If there was an award for calmest bride facing a catastrophe on her wedding day, Jessica would take home the gold. A little background- Days before the wedding, Jessica’s sister cut her leg open with a chainsaw. She had been cutting wood for the reception bonfire when the chainsaw slipped, cutting her leg open. She was in surgery the morning of the wedding, yet still managed to see Jessica step into her wedding gown. I mean, ya’ll, if that’s not impressive, I’m not sure what is!
Despite a stressful morning, everything fell into place just in time for their big day. Jessica was all smiles when she and Ben met for their first look. Seeing his beaming bride, Ben was overwhelmed with emotion. Clearly, becoming husband and wife was a dream come true for this sweet couple. (This is something I already knew- I had the pleasure of photographing Ben and Jessica’s engagement photos. It was obvious then that they were both stunning and madly in love!)
Guests enjoyed an intimate outdoor wedding followed by a lovely reception. The decor was simple and elegant- a perfect reflection of the couples style. But in all the surrounding beauty, it was the joyful moments shared between friends and family that made Ben and Jessica’s wedding day so memorable.
