A monsoon. A true, water coming at you sideways, southern, summertime monsoon. That was what we were greeted with in Savannah. For anyone else, weather like that could have ruined any experience. But when your happiness comes from being with the one you love, it seems like the sun is always shining. So we ducked into The Fitzroy, had a few drinks and waited for the rain to pass. Luckily for me, Stew and Arielle stayed relaxed, taking the detour in stride and enjoyed a little extra quality time together.

When the skies cleared, we made our way through the historic streets and squares Savannah is so famous for. Typically, I have couples posing, giving them all kinds of encouragement and actions to get them to be themselves in front of the camera. But Stew and Arielle needed no direction. They were playful and goofy, loving and affectionate, no matter where we stopped. Stew must have kissed Arielle on the forehead at least 1oo times during our session and I absolutely loved it! They were so sweet and tender with each other it made me downright giddy!

We ended our session at the Westin on Hutchinson Island, a great spot that overlooks River Street and the Savannah River. The spot was extra sentimental for them since Stew proposed in Augusta on the Savannah River. I couldn’t help but fall in love with these two even more after meeting them in person at their engagement session. Their relationship is one that I admire greatly and I know that their marriage will be full of joy and love!
