Joe and Erica’s story is a Georgian classic. This year they are celebrating a wedding anniversary, but their story begins at the University of Georgia. The two met during their junior year after being put together on a group project. But fate had bigger plans than a finance project for these two. They began to run into each other all over Athens! A few football games later and the rest is history.

Married for two and a half years, together for six, they have built a life for themselves in Perry, Georgia. After settling in they added 2 white golden retrievers, Milly and Chief. Who are, according to Erica, “Angel pups!” Joe and Erica have not only added furry friends to their lives, but deep meaningful friendships with people in their community.

Erica feels that pictures are the best type of artwork you can fill your home with. “I love walking in my front door and being greeted with our wedding pictures or photos of us at a football game.” And since they’ve experienced so much since their wedding, Erica wanted to capture life as it is now.

Erica’s marriage advice? “My biggest piece of advice on the first year of marriage is to cherish every second of it! It goes by so fast and its so easy to get caught up in when to start a family. Or feeling like you always need a plan. Just enjoy being together and the butterflies you get when the word ‘husband’ rolls off your tongue when talking to a complete stranger.”
